Re: GD & the Occupy Wall Street movement |
GD holds Occupy Wall Street press conference

Occupy Wall Street - GD and the 99-percent crowd - taking The Park in living-color
Occupy Wall Street - GD and the 99-percent crowd - taking The Park in black-and-white
Note: The above black & white photo of GD playing in the park was taken on the same day as The Hippie Temptation documentary was filmed. This photo was taken when the boys belted out Dancin' in The Streets. GD also opened their Kent State Massacre free benefit show with Dancin' in The Streets. That's my recommendation for the Occupy Wall Street theme song!
These are THE 1967 Occupy Wall Street roots The Boys laid down with "the rest of us" - filmed in The Hippie Temptation documentary:
Jerry Garcia says, "What we're thinking about is a peaceful planet. We're not thinking of anything else. We're not thinking about any kind of power. We're not thinking about any of those kinds of struggles. We're not thinking about revolution or war or any of that. That's not what we want. Nobody wants to get hurt. Nobody wants to hurt anybody. We would all like to be able to live an uncluttered life, a simple life, a good life and think about moving the whole human race ahead a step."
